In brief

The 5 cottages, restored according to tradition, are located in a unique panoramic location overlooking Lake Bolsena, Montefiascone and the surrounding territory that ranges up to catch a glimpse of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The houses of different sizes are used to host one or more apartments; the agriturismo has a total of 10 apartments for a total of 40 beds and two living rooms with equipped kitchen. All apartments are beautifully cared with restorative materials, with exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors and all the furnishings are in the old style.


In the natural garden and outdoor spaces, the farm offers its guests: rooftop pool, private parking, free wifi, barbecue, a porch with panoramic views of Montefiascone, a terrace overlooking the Lake of Bolsena and the Tyrrhenian Sea, a forest of oaks and chestnut trees is perfectly equipped for breaks and snacks.

The accommodation

The main house has two floors: at the ground floor there is the reception with a large living room with kitchen and fireplace, which is a common area for any lunches, dinners or relaxing moments.

On the first floor there are 4 apartments: Castagneto and Cerchiare have a large living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom, a private bathroom with shower, a loft with a single sofa bed and a single sofa bed in the lounge, suitable for 1 adult or 2 small children. They are therefore ideal for four people (2 +2 ) each, while Montecardone and Vignente have a large living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom, a private bathroom with shower, a loft with a queen size bed and a half and are ideal for four / five people each.

The main house can therefore accommodate a total 16/18 people. It's the ideal choice for groups of friends on holiday, thanks to the availability of the main hall that can be rented for parties or private dinners.

Casale Biagio is an independent house on the ground floor. It is located just in front of the main house and it has a patio where is possible to dine with a nice view to the swimming pool.

It has a kitchen in the living room also with a double couch bed, a double room, private bath with shower and a single bed on the mezzanine. It is suitable for max. 5 persons (2+3).

Casa Oliveto and Casa Poggeri are two apartments located in the same independent house. Casa Poggeri is on a up-level compared to Casa Oliveto. Both have a shaded veranda outside. Casa Poggeri has a private garden too.

Casa Poggeri has a living room with kitchenette and a double couch bed, one double room, one bath with shower. It is suitable for max 4 persons (2+2).

Casale Salcia is another independent house with a small patio outside and nearby the swimming pool. It has a living room with kitchen, two double rooms (one of each also with a single bed), one provate bathroom with shower, one single couch bed. For its size, it is suitable for max 6 persons (4+2).

The old main house has been recently restored and spitted in two apartments: Casa Maria and Casa Vittoria.

Casa Maria (4+3 persons), is the biggest, it has two large double rooms also with a single couch bed, a independent well furnished kitchen, a comfortable living room with fireplace and a balcony, TV.

We invite you to visit the Etruscan town of Tuscania, the etruscan necropolis of Tarquinia (Unesco World Heritage Site), the naturalistic and archaeological park of Vulci. You can also follow a renaissance route among parks and palaces of the Tuscia region as well as Parco dei Mostri in Bomarzo, Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola, Villa Lante in Bagnaia.

Just few kilometers away from us you can reach many medieval nice villages to be discovered. They are rich of history and traditions, very quite and away from confusion: Montefiascone, Bolsena, Marta, Capodimonte, Civita d Bagnoregio, Torrealfina, Tuscania...

- THERMAL BATHS (wellness)
Thanks to the natural presence of hot waters in the Tuscia region, your holiday will be also regenerating and relaxing. Only 20 km far from us you can find Terme dei Papi (Thermal and Wellness center) in Viterbo for specific treatments and healing and with a swimming pool with thermal hot water.

- LOCAL TASTE (tasting of local products)
We suggest you to taste the best of our local recipes, which are rich of tastes and traditions always accompanied by DOC wines of the Alta Tuscia such as the Est!Est!!Est!!! of Montefiascone, the cannaiola of Marta and the aleatico of Gradoli.

- SPORTS (various activities)
Nearby our location you can biking with different tours of all levels also along the Bolsena Lake; or you can trekking on the path of the old Via Francigena. Furthermore you can sailing, canoeing and wind surfing on Bolsena Lake. We also rent trekking bike for our guests.

- NATURE (lake and sea)
The Bolsena Lake is a lake to live... and it is only 4 km far from our location. You can swim in its our waters. It is the largest volcanic lake of Europe and it has also two beautiful islands to be visited by a public boat. The seaside on the tyrrhenian coast is only 40 minutes by car and in almost one hour driving you can reach the beautiful coast of Argentario peninsula in the Maremma Toscana, enclosed in the Natural Reserve of Parco dell’Uccellina, with long free beaches and rock climbing…ideal for free climbing. Further the beach and the sea it is also very interesting to visit the Tarot Garden nearby Capalbio. Then within 30 km you can enjoy the beautiful nature of the Riserva del Lamone and Riserva di Monterufeno for walking paths.

- TRADITIONS (sagre e feste)
Tuscia offers a various program and calendar of local festivities during the whole year. Mostly are concentrated from May to September when the several events allow you to know and enjoy our traditions and the culture of local people.

- A SHORT BREAK IN THE CITY (Montefiascone)
In Montefiascone there is a local railway station located in Zepponami district with daily connection to Rome, Orvieto and Florence. This is the ideal way to spend one day in the main art cities in the centre of Italy. The railway station is only 6 Km far away from our place. The trip to Rome Termini Railway Station, takes only one hour and half by train or you can also go by bus.

The portion of the ancient Via Francigena passing through Viterbo is of exceptional beauty, crossing picturesque villages and unspoiled countryside. Much of the path is situated in nature, tracing the ancient Via Cassia leading to Rome . In medieval times, during the pilgrimage's peak in popularity, the devout would travel the path from Canterbury to Rome. Today, what's left of Via Francigena is much more than just a pilgrimage; the route is ideal for lovers of history, hiking, and nature. In the stretch between Montefiascone and Viterbo, you can still follow the original Roman pavement, which winds through idyllic vineyards and orchards. Eventually, the path leads to the Bagnaccio thermal pools near Viterbo, an ideal place for taking a break to rejuvenate your body and soul.

The best way to achieve complete relaxation is to pair a calming massage with a rejuvenating soak in a thermal pool. Located just 20 km/ 12 miles from our property, you can find the historic Terme dei Papi, a historic complex offering spa treatments and entrance to the pool's therapeutic waters.
